I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated with a master's degree from University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Specialities in Trauma/Substance Abuse).
I am clinically trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). I have specialized training in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I have five years of experience in the mental health field working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have had the privilege to work for several mental health facilities within Dane County, including Rogers Behavioral Health, William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, and Journey Mental Health Center. I have served a diverse set of clients and worked closely with diagnoses which include OCD, Anxiety, Major Depression, Substance Abuse, PTSD, and Mood Disorders.
My life experiences have taught me to continue to have hope and to cultivate hope towards those around me. I strive to build a safe therapeutic space, in which you feel fully understood and supported. I work with individual clients ages (12+) including preteens and adults. I truly look forward to meeting with you and supporting you during your path to recovery.
