Justin Woodward

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

There is no better teacher than experience. With more than 20 years of practice in the Madison area working with children and families with high needs, and professional therapy experience since 2007, Justin is grateful for the gift of spending time with individuals from many different walks of life. Every person he encounters has something different to bring to the world.  Justin believes that every individual should be able to experience these things:

  • Support, validation and acceptance

  • Structure, direction and resources to be successful on their own path, at their own pace, whether it be moving through a difficult time, or becoming someone they have always wanted to be.

  • The assumption that all individuals have the inherent ability to heal themselves, and that intuition is often a pathway to that healing.

Justin also believes that these things can be experienced in a genuine partnership with a goal of creating a sustainable and equitable world for everyone.  Justin has taught in the Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program at Edgewood College since 2014, has specialized in working with people on the autism spectrum, borderline personality, and multiple diagnoses, and has worked in an outpatient facility, a combination therapy/school environment after beginning his therapy career in an in home family therapy program.
