I currently practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and have experience in working with mild to severe substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. I also have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, specializing in treating adults, parents, and families and providing mental health services to adults in outpatients, group, individual, and family therapies. I have also completed additional training in the following: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mental Health First Aid Training, 3-Day Intensive Training Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychological First Aid. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling, and group counseling.
I went into this field as I found out I genuinely enjoy helping others navigate their way through life, whether it’s through more difficult times, unfamiliar times, or even sometimes happier times. I became a therapist because I have worked through my own battles in life. I was inspired to be a therapist as I had a therapist that never gave up on me and taught me the power of resiliency, courage, bravery, and being vulnerable, amidst even our darker times. I’m passionate about self-discovery, exploration and healing and hope to pass this on to clients I serve.
