Abegglen Counseling is seeking two full-time psychotherapists to join our growing, values-driven private practice. We offer a highly autonomous, clinician-centered work environment with strong administrative support, competitive pay, and exceptional benefit.

Providers will be based at either our downtown Regent Street location or our Fitchburg clinic on Marketplace Drive.

All full-time clinicians receive exclusive use of a fully furnished private office, regardless of location.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a full-time psychotherapist, you will provide in-person and/or telehealth therapy services while maintaining autonomy over your schedule and clinical work. Our practice is intentionally structured to minimize administrative burden—billing, payments, intake paperwork, and insurance processes are handled by our full-time office manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide psychotherapy services to a diverse client population (in-person and/or telehealth)

Maintain a minimum of 25 clinical hours per week to retain full-time status
-
Scheduling is flexible and negotiable
-
Three hours per week must be offered during early mornings, evenings, or weekends (provider’s choice)

Use of PTO goes towards weekly full time minimum
-

Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner
-
Work independently while adhering to clinic policies and procedures
-
Attend monthly consultation/staff meetings (paid)

In-training providers will participate in weekly paid supervision

QUALIFICATIONS:
​
Required
-
Hold a valid Wisconsin license to practice psychotherapy
-
Preference given to fully licensed clinicians
-
LPC-ITs, APSWs and MFTs with at least one full calendar year of licensure will be considered (i.e. license issue date MUST be one year or older, regardless of client hours accumulated)

Due to billing requirements, new graduates or in-training providers with less than one year of licensure cannot be considered
Preferred
-
Prior credentialing with insurance networks (Quartz/Unity, Dean/SSM Health, BCBS, WPS, etc.)
-
Specialized training or certification (e.g., AODA, EMDR, DBT, trauma-focused approaches, couples/family work)
-
Experience working with children/adolescents and/or clients with special needs

COMPENSATION
​

Fully Licensed Providers: $55–$62 per hour
-
In-Training Providers: Starting at $35 per hour
Compensation applies to:
-
Clinical time with clients
-
No-call/no-show appointments (with some exceptions)

Meeting attendance
-
Supervision time (for in-training providers)

All clinicians are W-2 employees and are paid monthly, regardless of pending insurance reimbursements or client payments.
