Licensed Professional Counselor

Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor

I currently practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and have experience in working with mild to severe substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. I also have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, specializing in treating teens, adults, parents, and families and providing mental health services to adults in outpatients, group, individual, and family therapies. I have also completed additional training in the following: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mental Health First Aid Training, 3-Day Intensive Training Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychological First Aid. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling, and group counseling.

I went into this field as I found out I genuinely enjoy helping others navigate their way through life, whether it’s through more difficult times, unfamiliar times, or even sometimes happier times. I became a therapist because I have worked through my own battles in life. I was inspired to be a therapist as I had a therapist that never gave up on me and taught me the power of resiliency, courage, bravery, and being vulnerable, amidst even our darker times.  I’m passionate about self-discovery, exploration and healing and hope to pass this on to clients I serve.
