Advanced Practice Social Worker
SYDNEY
WALKER
about me
Sydney is an Advanced Practice Social Worker with a focus on the
intersection of mental health, disability, and self-exploration. She aims to
create a non-judgmental and welcoming environment that allows for a safe
and equal relationship between therapist and client. With a background in
disability services and based on practical experience, Sydney is excited to
hold space for clients in all walks of life including: disabled,
Autistic/ADHD/neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, polyamorous/non-
monogamous, and kink-practicing/alt-sex clients.

Sydney believes that interpersonal connections, relationships, and
communication are crucial for change. Working from an eclectic
interpersonal framework, Sydney looks forward to exploring emotional
processing and regulation with their clients. She is especially interested in
supporting clients navigating a wide variety of concerns, such as anxiety,
depression, identity exploration, inter/intrapersonal experiences, relationship
dynamics, and trauma.

Sydney is also COVID-competent and interested in how to make therapeutic
practices more accessible for all - if you have any questions regarding
COVID safety practices or would like to discuss your access needs, please reach out!
